About Us

Matru dance academy is dedicated to promote and preserve various Indian dance arts in USA.  Since its inception, this academy has emerged into one of the leading Classical, Semi-classical, Fusion and Folk dance institutes in NJ & PA.

Our students have participated in various dance competitions across the country and won several accolades. This academy has hand held students from various age groups from learning  the basics of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and various folk dances to the advanced learning of these dance forms and up to masters level.

We believe that dancing has the potential to integrate physical, emotional and intellectual development in each student and our teacher has proved it with her own career. We urge our students to express themselves and to communicate with others in a social and cultural manner, which not only improve their dancing skill but also makes them a better person.
